Life-Sucking Abyss ("The Pardoner's Tale")

I found “The Pardoner’s Tale” very interesting because of its humorous story. Presenting it to the class helped me to understand about it more. The Pardoner’s Tale is a very good tale and it shares a very sensible message.

The Pardoner’s Tale is about three drunken men who are driven crazy by their greed and even came to a point of killing each other. They are willing to sell their souls just to get their precious gold. But in the end they all died in vain, how miserable.

“Although gold dust is precious, when it gets in your eyes, it obstructs your vision” ~ Hsi-Tang. Never let the money blind you because it will only cause you miserable death. Remember, MONEY CANT BUY HAPPINESS! I know nowadays money is not easy to earn but being a Christian we need to be patient and persevering. For those who are experiencing financial problems remember that God will never put us into a test we can’t pass.

This story is just an example of what possible things may happen to you if you let greed control you.
A vision without action is daydream but an action without vision is nightmare so think 1st before you do something because it will only lead you to a life sucking abyss if you don’t.
